As you've probably noticed, I've moved the reserved parking bays to along the terrace wall so that there's now a designated area for delivery trucks which should free up movement of cars in the main parking area. This delivery area should be kept free at all times.
Please be careful when leaving your trolleys that they're not blocking the designated parking bays.
Polite request from our Head Greenkeeper
During the dry weather we've been keeping the greens well-watered.
Recently we've noticed an increase in pitch marks out on the course. It's a great help in keeping the course in good condition if members would kindly repair their own marks when pitching on the green.
Many thanks, Tony.
Good news, the Halfway House is now open 7 days per week. Even if you're not hungry, it would be great if more of you can at least stop for a cup of tea or a cold drink to help to cover its basic running costs. Rob Noble has kindly offered to step behind the counter for a couple of mornings a week and seems to be enjoying it, so if anyone else would like to come forward to put in a few hours a week in the Halfway House then please let us know.
Opening Hours :
Mondays : 8.30am - 1.30pm
Tuesdays : 8.30am - 12.30pm
Wednesdays : 8.30am - 1.30pm
