Practice Facilities
Driving Range
The covered 20 bay floodlit driving range at the James Andrews Golf School is equipped with top quality range mats and balls. There are a variety of greens and targets that extend slightly uphill over its 250 yard length to aim at and the range mirrors will help you keep an eye on your position. The driving range is open all day until 9:00 pm during the winter and 10:00 pm in the summer, range tokens can be purchased at the pro shop.
Putting Greens
There are currently 7 fully-irrigated sand-based putting greens at the golf school which are a centerpiece at the golf club overlooked by the clubhouse and floodlit for evening use. All of the putting greens vary in both length and slope giving you the perfect opportunity to practice all types of putts before heading out onto one of the our golf courses.
Academy Hole
The 60 yard academy hole allows for full short-game work with realistic ground conditions and two bunkers of varying size and difficulty. The practice holes allow you to work on a range of chip shots including the chip and run, the flop shot and also the dreaded bunker shot. The hole set behind the clubhouse and surrounded by woodland, offering a picturesque setting for practicing.
Par 3 Course
The par 3 course presents a challenge in its own right, but less daunting than the 18 hole course, this makes it an ideal first step onto a golf course for anyone new to the game.
18 Hole Course
Measuring 6269 yards off the backs tees. With a range of hazards from ponds to deep fairway bunkers the course offers a tough test for the experienced golfer and an enjoyable round for non-handicap golfers.
