Ermmm.... does anyone know where posts 11 and 12 have gone??? I spent ages doing a long reply to James, and one to Simon. They were there yesterday but they have both disappeared today - anyone know how/where/why/who etc?

Thanks

im probably "out of time"on this discussion re "crowded course" but i too have been away and only just read the comments,if i can add my thoughts James.Surely a lot of "play management"should come from the shop? Our group have often nipped on to the back nine because of the vast crowd on the first T waiting to play, and guess what----it's been nearly empty!!hoards of people going down the 1st etc but no one on the back nine, surely the shop, seeing how busy the front nine is should tell every other 2 ball or foursome to go on the back nine, spread play around the course, not bunch everyone up on the front??It's not just the shops job to take money off players and they first and foremost know how busy its getting so are ideally placed to manage the situation. The course is getting more and more popular, thats blatantly obvious so this problem is not going to go away, better shop management of play and players could go a long way to helping.
