I would like to say a big thank you to all the members taht played in captains day and the guests that came for the evening Hog Roast. I hope that you all enjoyed the day. I would also like to give a special thanks to the pro shop staff for their assistance throughout the day, they were very aware of everyones needs and were only to pleased to assist. The club and catering staff, Sam please pass on my thanks again for all assisstance that you gave me durring the day it will not be forgotten. Allthrough the exact figure is not known yet the funds raised for the two charities is about £302.00, again many thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets.
The winners of the various prizes are as follows
Texas scramble with a round of 61 was
C Aldridge, M Crawley, P McGill and P Heys ( M Crawley and P Heys donated their prize to the raffle)
The par three winner was G Crawley with Gross 32
The target golf winner A Appleby

Hi Paul, your Captains Day was most enjoyable, the Texas Scramble was great, (even in spite of the weather) and the event in the evening was most pleasant. Thank you for the DAY and all the hard work you and all the "helpers"to make it a good event for the club. The course was it good condition, all credit to the Ground staff.
