i would like to put an idear forward to put some sort of green carpet on the wooden steps on the 6th tee as when it rains the sleepers become very slippery and i see as a hazzard in the coming winter months and today during the rain my friend slipped on them and was very lucky he did not hurt him self .

thank you paul lawrence not sir nick faldo or happy gilmore !!!

you can get skate board grip fairly cheaply in bulk. its kind of a hard wearing glass paper, i think that would be ideal.

Thank you Paul and Dan for the post and suggestions.

I have ordered some grip tape (simular to skateboarding tape but cheaper :) that may be in by the weekend.

Why did'nt you just "score"them(or crosshatch them) with the chainsaw,it would have been even cheaper and lasted for donkeys years??

Phil
A little too late for suggestions but thank you for your input.
Just for your own knowledge this does not work well as we have tried it in the past.
