Christopher Cotton pictured above won the under 15s county championship today at Seaford Golf Course with a gross 73. William Parker school boy Chris has had a great year with his golf, and in the last 12 months his handicap has come down from 26 to 7, a remarkable achievement.

 

 

October 2006

A RISING star from Sedlescombe Golf Club has won a prestigious international competition for elite young players.

Ben Evans beat off strong competition from many of the leading up-and-coming golfers in Britain and Iceland at The Faldo Series Final.

The 19-year-old ace said: "I'm delighted to have won The Faldo Series Final 2006 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Celtic Manor."

Ben Evans was one of James Andrews earlier students and is continuing, through his dedication, to enjoy a great deal of success and no doubt will continue to do so in the future.
