The Fifth Hole << Back - Next Hole >>
Par 5 - 494 yards

This beautiful hole plays back into the prevailing wind with views of the 'Great Battle Wood' creating a stunning seasonal backdrop.
The tee shot is hit onto a naturally undulating fairway, for the long hitters, reaching the green requires a shot played over the valley to the green on the far side.
The green is banked on the right and rear and has some unseen burrows.
Pro's Tip: Hitting the fairway is a must on this hole as either the ditch or trees will punish you. When played as a 3 shot par 5 add a little more club to the approach shot to compensate for the incline to the green. The green can be tricky to read as it slopes more than it seems.
